The People

Paul and Katya Smyth bought what is now Second Law Farm in 2004, knowing virtually nothing about farming. Turns out Katya's love for animals, Paul's love for gardening, and our shared stubbornness, aversion to sitting still, and occasional foolishness are excellent fodder for farming. Our kids Desdemona and Stephen are fabulous assistants in the summer when they're home from school.

I sow mayhem. The other cats don't like me much but Percy and I love to hang out and plot mischief.
